DIY Personalized Notebook

Personalized DIY Notebook

Notebooks are seriously what keeps the world spinning. Well that obviously isn’t true, but they do help you to stay organized, hold your deepest inner thoughts, and are probably the number one gift given to women. I love notebooks but hate how many of the designs you see in stores look the same. By now you’ve probably figured out that I love unique things! An easy way to make an average notebook step into the realm of amazing is to make a personalized DIY notebook with stickers, scrapbook paper, and punches. By customizing the front of the notebook it makes it look super snazzy, unique, and you can bet that no one else will have one like yours (score!). The best part is that it doesn’t take long or many supplies to spice up your little notebook!

I had a promotional notebook that I got at some convention that I absolutely love but it had a random logo on the front. So I thought, how cute would it be if it had the It’s So Corinney logo on the front? I dug into my scrapbook paper and an hour later, I picked out some cute paper for the background. This project is so versatile and you could easily use stickers instead of a printed logo or you could cut something out of a magazine. Also, if you go on the scrapbook aisle at any craft supply store they usually have pre-cut designs that you could put on the notebook. So, in no at all you have a one-of-a-kind personalized DIY notebook (this just makes me so happy)!

What You Need!

  • Scrapbook Paper
  • Notebook
  • Scissors
  • Double Sided Tape
  • Paper Punches (I love to use corner punches)

What to Do!

Here is the original notebook before it became absolutely fabulous!!

Original Notebook

Measure how big your background color should be.

First Layer of Logo Background

Use paper punches to make the edges decorative! You can skip this step if you don’t mind your background being square.

Use Paper Punches to Make Decorative Edges

I punched both of the background layers’ corners so they wouldn’t be jealous of each other.

Punch the Next Layer to Make Decorative Edges

I use Elmer’s tape for all my paper craft projects but feel free to use your glue of choice. If you are unsure what tape to use just go with Elmer’s it’s hands down the best!

Use Tape to Attach Background to Logo

Run the tape around the edges of the top layer.

Tape Around Edges of Next Layer

Center the top layer on top of back layer.

Center Next Layer on Back Layer

Put tape on the logo layer.

Tape Logo to Background

Position the top layer on the background layers.

Add Logo to Background

Tape the finished logo onto the center of the notebook.

Finished Personalized Notebook

That’s all there is to it! Now, you can enjoy having the most awesome notebook around!
