I’m totally obsessed with mini things! I’ve always been and when I was little my mom would find little things to get me because it just makes me so happy. I still get excited when I find something in the store that is super tiny! This is why I absolutely LOVE this project! A while ago, I wanted a cute calendar that I could put on my desk but couldn’t find anything that I liked. I also didn’t want to spend a lot of money because let’s be honest you are going to just throw it away when it expires.
After looking for what felt like forever, I stumbled onto the website The Cottage Market that gives away free calendar designs that you can print! She creates the cutest calendars that feature Beauty and the Beast, unicorns, and the Justice League just to name a few. I was so excited and immediately went to work trying to figure out how to use these cute designs for my desk calendar. Then when I saw a mini easel BOOM it hit me, I would make the The Cottage Market’s calendars into mini desk calendars! I went to work printing, cutting, and taping to make something amazing! After I finished, I was super tickled at the final result. The best part is that I spent under five dollars for a whole year of cuteness!

What You Need!
- Mini Art Easel
- Calendars Printed From The Cottage Market
- Double Sided Tape
- Scrapbook Paper
I found a mini easel at Hobby Lobby for $2!
What to Do!
Go to The Cottage Market and save the cute calendars of your choice. For this project we will be using the monthly calendars.
Copy the pictures into Word because you will need to resize them. Resize the pictures to 3 inches wide by 4 inches high. This is just the measurements that I chose to use but you could definitely use a different size.
Print page out and measure where you need to cut.
Cut out the calendars.
Find scrapbook paper that you like, I used paper that matched each unicorn of the month.
Tape the printed month to the scrapbook paper with wrong sides together.
Cut the scrapbook paper around the printed calendar. Yep, I noticed after I taped this one that you can totally see the barcode of the scrapbook paper so this was a definite redo.
Here are the backs of four months.
I just can’t get over how cute these little calendars are!
That’s it! Now, go enjoy your cute calendar every day for the next year!
