Let’s face it Santa seems to get A LOT of credit for bringing holiday cheer & goodwill to all during the Christmas season. But let’s be honest, Santa wouldn’t be able to do half of the work that he does without his trusty band of elves (who don’t get enough credit)!
So, as I was making the crochet Santa ball Christmas ornament I thought that it would be super cute to make an elf ball Christmas ornament as well! This super easy-to-make ball looks so cute on the Christmas tree (beside Santa or alone) and also makes a super adorable package decoration! So are you ready to crochet your own elf ball Christmas ornament? Then let’s do it!

FYI!
- The elf ball is crocheted in the round. This means that you don’t join the end of the round with a slip stitch and instead insert the first stitch of the next round into the first stitch from the last round.
Stitches Used!
- Increase ~ Insert two single crochet into one single crochet from last round.
- Invisible Decrease ~ Insert hook into the first single crochet’s front loop, insert hook into the second single crochet’s front loop, yarn over and pull through both front loops, yarn over and then pull through the two loops on hook.
