Do you love the Marvel movies? I have to admit that when they first started coming out I wasn’t a huge fan! However, after the movies started to tie into each other and I started to see how intricately woven the story lines were I was hooked!
One of my favorite Marvel characters is the Incredible Hulk (a.k.a. Bruce Banner). So, when I was designing gift card holders I just knew that I wanted to make one that was the Incredible Hulk! And what do you know, it came out really cute! So, are you ready to make the Marvel fan in your life this super easy and cute gift card holder?

FYI!
- Chain 1 in each round does not count as a stitch
Special Stitches!
- Long Single Crochet: Worked just like a single crochet except instead of inserting your hook into the single crochet from the previous round you will insert it into the row before that one. Example……in round 16 you will insert your hook into the single crochet you made in round 14 and single crochet as normal.

Round 17:

- Slipstitch to first single crochet (18 stitches)
Fasten off and weave in your ends!
Insert Safety Eyes:
Then insert the 6mm safety eyes between rounds 10 and 11. I placed them with three stitches in between on the side of the holder that didn’t have the joining seam. Next, take some small jewelry cutters and cut the back of the safety eyes down. Make sure to not cut too far down or the back of the safety eye won’t stay on!
Then add two black lines in a diagonal right above the eyes to make him have angry eyebrows! After all, he is the Incredible Hulk!
Next, take your yarn needle and a piece of purple yarn and sew the bottom of the gift card holder closed. Weave in the ends of your yarn.
