Recently I made myself a new beanie (I’m good to myself like that) using BobWilson123’s granny square beanie pattern. This is a seriously easy pattern that has a video to accompany it! So, when the hat was finished I felt like something was missing. Then it hit me! It totally needed a small bow sewn to it!
I absolutely love bows because they are so cute and super girly! I would like to point out that Disney cartoons fully appreciate how amazing bows truly are. That’s right, some of my favorite Disney characters like Belle, Minnie Mouse, Jessie, Cinderella and even Snow White wore bows (just to name a few)! So what are you waiting for? It’s time to make some of your own bow cuteness!

After you finish the first nine rows pat yourself on the back! Then, repeat rows 1 through 9 for a total of 18 rows
Once finished, match the two ends together and single crochet together.
Here is the back of the bow after I single crocheted all the way down.
Pinch the bow in middle. Make sure it’s the middle or your bow will come out wonky!

Wrap the yarn around middle making sure to pull tight. Wrap until the center looks covered (this is a personal preference).
After you finish your easy crochet bow take a yarn needle and sew it to a beanie or hair barrette. Look how cute it looks!
Once you have attached this adorable bow fasten off and weave in ends!
I love this bow so much that I even crocheted a smaller version and attached it to a chain stitch for Molly to wear in her birthday photos!
This easy bow is super quick to make (seriously, it only took me 20 minutes!) and besides sewing it to the beanie you could easily add to a hair clip and wear it in your hair.
