Crochet Minnie Mouse Amigurumi

Crochet Minnie Mouse Amigurumi

Since I was a child, I have LOVED Minnie Mouse. I mean, what’s not to love? Her adorable skirt, signature bow, and sassy attitude make her impossible not to adore!

When I was designing and crocheting the Mickey Mouse amigurumi, I instantly knew I wanted to design Minnie as well. However, for what felt like ages, I never got around to it.

That all changed when I signed up for a craft fair and wanted to make some cute little things to sell. After crocheting several Mickey Mouse amigurumi, I finally sat down and designed Minnie Mouse! And honestly, I’m so glad I did because she has quickly become one of my favorite amigurumi designs! Are you ready to make your own Minnie Mouse amigurumi? Then grab your hook and let’s go!

  • The parts of Minnie Mouse are crocheted in the round. This means that you don’t join the end of the round with a slip stitch and insert the first stitch of the next round into the first stitch from the last round.

Stitches Used!

  • Single Crochet ~ Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through the stitch, yarn over and pull through the two loops on hook.
  • Increase ~ Insert two single crochet into one single crochet from last round.
  • Slip Stitch ~ Insert hook into the stitch, yarn over then pull through the stitch and the loop on hook.
  • Invisible Decrease ~ Insert hook into the first single crochet’s front loop, then insert hook into the second single crochet’s front loop, yarn over then pull through both front loops, yarn over then pull through the two loops on hook.
  • Back Loop Only ~ Insert hook into the back loop of the stitch (the loop of the stitch that is furthest from you) and crochet stitch as normal.
