Personally, I feel like it’s not just the gift that you’ve gotten someone but also how you present it to them. As a creative, I love making the package that the present comes in just as cute as the gift I’m giving. For me, this is even more important when I’m giving something handmade. So, about ten years ago I thought why not make my own gift tags to go with all of the pretty gifts that I had made? That’s when I started designing and making handmade gift tags!
When I first started making my gift tags they were super simple, but cute. As the years have gone by my gift tags have gotten more intricate (not to mention cuter!). So, one year I really had my heart set on making snowmen gift tags (I’m not sure why). After looking online for some gift tag inspiration I came up short. That’s when I decided to design my own cute Christmas snowman gift tags! These easy and cute gift tags are simple to make with your Cricut machine or by hand and look amazing on gift packages!

Cricut Supplies Used!
FYI! If you don’t have a cutting machine, no worries! The Christmas snowman gift tags download includes a PDF template so you can make these cute gift tags by hand!
What To Do!
To begin the Christmas snowman gift tags you need to download the free SVG file from The Pattern Stash and upload it into Cricut Design Space. Need help doing this? Check out my post How To Upload SVG Files to Cricut Design Space for step-by-step instructions! Once loaded into Cricut Design Space cut out your snowman.
Next, take one of the brads and insert it into the middle of the snowman’s belly. Now, if you’re using small buttons or adhesive gems you don’t have to do this step first. Only if you are adding brads do you have to do it before you glue/tape the body together.
Then open the brad on the back of the snowman’s body.
Next, insert the next brad a little bit down from the other brad.
Then use paper glue or tape to attach the white body of the snowman to the back piece.
Next, use tape or glue and attach the snowman’s hat onto the head. If you are using a specialty paper make sure the pretty side is facing out.
Then glue down the red strip across the hat.
Next, tape down the scarf to the neck of the snowman.
Then use the adhesive gems and add two black eyes and an orange nose.
And….then add your super cute creation to your present! Since the back of the snowman is blank can easily add the to/from names for your gift!
Wasn’t this so easy to make? These super cute Christmas snowman gift tags are perfect to add that extra personal touch to all of your Christmas presents!
