Crochet Mickey Mouse Amigurumi

Crochet Mickey Mouse Amigurumi

Mickey Mouse is by far one of the most iconic and recognizable cartoon characters of all time. Don’t believe me? Then I dare you to find someone who doesn’t know this famous mouse! It’s funny that I learned how to spell mouse at a really young age because of the Mickey Mouse theme song! Even today every time I spell mouse I sing the song in my head (so funny)!

As I was thinking about what amigurumi projects I wanted to create, it came as no surprise that Mickey was one of my first ideas! So, I went to work designing and the crochet Mickey Mouse amigurumi pattern was born! This super easy crochet project is too cute and super versatile. Mickey can easily be made into a backpack bobble and if you add a hanging ribbon you could totally use it on your Christmas tree as an ornament. So….are you ready to make your own M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E amigurumi? Then let’s do it!

  • You can easily change the Mickey Mouse ball into a purse or backpack bobble. Just sew a keychain ring or hook to the finished project and hang your super cute Mickey!
  • Mickey Mouse is crocheted in the round. This means that you don’t join the end of the round with a slip stitch and insert the first stitch of the next round into the first stitch from the last round.

Stitches Used!

  • Increase ~ Insert two single crochet into one single crochet from last round.
  • Invisible Decrease ~ Insert hook into the first single crochet’s front loop, insert hook into the second single crochet’s front loop, yarn over and pull through both front loops, yarn over and pull through the two loops on hook.
