Isn’t fall just the best? It’s by far my most favorite season of the year! Fall has so much going for it. It’s the time of the year that the weather turns cooler (this a big deal in Texas), the leaves start to change color, and we are once again reminded to be grateful for what we have. I’ve always been a huge fan of fall and LOVE to decorate for the season.
So, this year I wanted to make some new fall decorations but really didn’t have a lot of time to invest in fall projects. This is how the layered pumpkin mandala was born! This super easy project can be made super quick and looks amazing. And the best part is you probably have all of the crafting supplies in your craft arsenal so it ends up being as cost effective as it’s cute!

What To Do!
To begin the layered pumpkin mandala you need to download the free SVG file from The Pattern Stash and upload it into the Cricut Design Space. Need help doing this? Check out my post How To Upload SVG Files to Cricut Design Space for step-by-step instructions! Then cut the pumpkin layers using the settings appropriate for the weight of the card stock paper you are using. I cut mine out at 9ish inches but you could totally make your pumpkin a different size. However, please note that you shouldn’t go too small because the Cricut won’t like it due to the intricate pattern of the mandala.
Once you cut everything, add the foam adhesive squares to the back of the first layer. You can use any size foam adhesive squares that you have on hand. If you have the large adhesive squares just cut them down to fit the pumpkin.
Next, carefully line up the cut out design of the first layer to the designs of the second layer.
TIP! Don’t press the first layer down completely until you are sure the layers are lined up. This way the foam squares don’t adhere too well and you can move the layers if you have to adjust them.
Then add the foam adhesive squares to the back of the second layer.
Next, line up the designs of the first and second layer to the third layer.
So, do you know what comes next? Yep, that’s right add the foam adhesive squares to the back of the third layer!
Then carefully place the pumpkin stack onto the fourth layer. And……you’re finished with your cute pumpkin!
Here is one that I made using different colors. I love how all of the different symbols really pop!
Didn’t I say this would be a quick project? Now, all that is left to do is find a place for your cute creation! So, what colors will you use on this easy layered pumpkin mandala?
