Easy Almond Butter Banana Pupcakes

Easy Almond Butter Banana Pupcakes

Molly Elizabeth is the cutest dog in the world (just look at her picture at bottom of post)! Ok, that’s obviously just my own opinion and I’m not completely unbiased! I got Molly when she was just two months old and I fell madly in love with her! She is the sweetest little girl and I can’t imagine my life without my furry love! I’m a firm believer that everyone should have their own little furry friend!

Every year for Molly’s birthday, I try to do something special for her. Yes, I know I’m one of THOSE dog parents but I can’t help myself! So, this year I decided that I would make her pupcakes for her birthday (a.k.a cupcakes for dogs). She was thrilled when I told her what I wanted to do! Well, she never said anything but I could tell she was pretty stoked.

What To Do!

In a large bowl mash up the medium banana. Mash it until it looks like baby food.

Stir in the flour and baking powder, making sure to mix well.

Take your batter and put into a freezer bag. Zip the bag then cut off one of the end corners. Now you can easily pipe the mixture into the mini cupcake pan. I like to use cup cake liners in my Wilton mini cupcake pan. Cupcake liners make clean up SO much easier!

Pipe The Batter Into Baking Cups

Bake the pupcakes on 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Make sure to check regularly so you don’t burn the bottoms!

The pupcakes are finished when a toothpick is inserted into the center and it comes out clean. This recipe makes 15-17 yummy mini pupcakes. Once cool you could easily make a frosting for the pupcakes by mixing cream cheese with almond butter. I opted to not frost Molly’s pupcakes because she has choked on frosting in the past and I didn’t want to risk it.

Finished Easy Almond Butter Banana Pupcakes

Just look how excited Molly is about her pupcakes! She seriously LOVED them. I don’t think she has ever been so excited for any treat in her life!

Now, you have absolutely NO excuse to not make pupcakes for your own sweet furry love! Trust me, these are sure to be a favorite for any pup!
